Series V: Chinese Embassy, London, United Kingdom

Series consists of primarily correspondence, memoranda, embassy records, speeches, and various subject files relating to China's domestic affairs and world affairs, during the time when Wellington Koo was the Ambassador to London and the Chinese Delegate to the United Nations, dating from 1941 to 1946. This series also contain a small amount of materials on the League of Nations and the United Nations as the time frame overlaps with Wellington Koo's involvement in these two international organizations.

Also included are social event invitations and RSVPs. The chronological telegram files are mainly incoming telegrams from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs dating from 1944 to 1946 and outgoing telegrams to various officials and governmental departments, dating from 1943 to 1946. Also include are additional incoming and outgoing correspondence during Koo's visit to China between his transition as the Ambassador to London and his new mission to the U.S. in 1946.
