Subseries consists of personal materials compiled by Patricia Koo and K.C. Tsien. Materials also include Koo's early correspondence, family correspondence, financial, investments, and property records. The files also include a copy of documents related to Koo and his family dating from 1918 to 1931, housed in the Second Historical Archive of China in Nanjing (中國南京第二歷史檔案館). The document copies were reproduced in 1980s by the Chinese Academy of Social Science.

Subseries X.2: Diaries, 1932-1956

Subseries consists of Wellington Koo's handwritten personal diaries in English, dating from 1932 to 1956, during the time when he was the Ambassador to France, the UK, and the US. The diaries include official agenda of the day and events which he attended during his career, news clippings and loose notes, as well as details of informal conversations not included in the notes of conversation. They also contain records of entries on his personal life, judgments and theoretical remarks on various issues. The diaries are also available in microfilms.
