These materials date from Hazzard's time in Hong Kong and afterward, as her correspondence with some of the individuals was lifelong. The materials also includes earlier manuscripts and drafts, including "The Place To Be," a short story of Peter Exley's experiences in Hong Kong that was published in The New Yorker in 1987.
