Subseries VIII.1: Address Books, 1960s, undated
This subseries include eight address books and several folders of addresses written on loose slips of paper.
Subseries VIII.2: Appointment Books, 1959-2013
This subseries contains appointment books. The majority of these are Hermes quarterly agendas, so there are four books (one for each quarter) for most years between 1959 and 2007. These are small books, measuring 3x5 inches.
There are also some additional appointment books for 1953, 1964, 1968, 1970, 1978, 1984, 1989 and 2008-2013.
Hazzard used appointment books not only for keeping track of appointments, but also for writing longer entries on daily events and other topics.
