Correspondence with non-Columbia organizations includes the Institute of Pacific Relations, Far Eastern Association, INDUSCO, Council on Foreign Relations, Asia Foundation, and American Council of Learned Societies, among others. Subject files relevant to Columbia University include items pertaining to the Department of Chinese and Japanese, later renamed the Department of East Asian Languages and Cultures, as well as teaching files, student files and research projects directed. The manuscript files contain the notes and, in some cases, printed copies of published and unpublished works and public talks. Wilbur's writings and research concentrate on the history and politics of twentieth century China, with emphasis on the Chinese Revolution, 1920-1929, Sun Yat-sen, and communism in China. There are translations of minutes for the first and second Kuomintang Congresses, copies of documents from the Kuomintang Archives, and photographs of members of the Young China Party, Sun Yat-sen and several historical events in the 1920s. Files on fund raising efforts for the Department of East Asian Languages and Cultures and the Wellington Koo Fellowship also contain relevant correspondence. Series consists of printed materials inscribed to Wellington Koo and collected by Koo, dating from 1927 to 1986. The publications mainly focus on topics such as international affairs, law and policies, diplomacy, Sino-Japanese conflict, Chinese history, and calligraphy. The memorabilia include signed guest books, commemorative book, calligraphy books, and yearbooks. Also include in the memorabilia are two rare Chinese telegraphic code books from the Republican period, along with instructions and indexes.

Poems are arranged in order by date (where available), so please do not disturb the sequence. The first poem in Box 2, Folder 8, was later included by its subject, Buckminster Fuller, in his book Synergistic Stew. Most of Hayman's poems, like her invitations, are decorated with illustrations and calligraphy. She uses this method of presentation - combining word and image - in her collection from 1969, Embrace Me Universe.

Series comprises primarily correspondence, photographs, immigration and visa documents, diaries, articles, writings, bonds, caricatures, and so on related to T.C. Hsu and his family, dating from circa 1904 to 2012. The correspondence include family letters, photographs and documents related to his siblings, business letters, and letters between T.C. Hsu and his colleagues and friends. The immigration and visas files document his migration from Hong Kong to the United States during the 1950s, his passports, his visas applications to travel to China in the 1970s, and the permanent residence applications for his siblings. The two volumes of Singloh Hsu (徐新六) diaries document his career as a banker between 1936 and 1938. The five volumes of T.C. Hsu diaries dated between 1943 and 1964. The photographs are primarily portraits of T.C. Hsu and his family, dating from 1930s to 1940s; the photographs also depict T.C. Hsu's activities and travels, dating from circa 1960s to 2006. Other documents in the series include address book, bookmark, articles, calligraphy writing, caricature, fortune telling, financial bonds, etc. collected by T.C. Hsu. The materials document T.C. Hsu's life and his experience as an employee working for an international company and his migration experience from China to the United States during the 1950s.
