Box 8 Silver pocket watch belonging to Pierre and Marie Curie, circa 1890s

Bears the inscription: "Watch which belonged to Pierre Curie and afterwards to Marie Curie. Used by both of them in the first researches on radium. Willed by Madame Curie to Mrs. William Brown Melony."
