The collection comprises a large Proof Album with multiple photographs (circa Spring 1955). This album contains several pages of proofs that were used in the Thunderbird 1955 yearbook. The proofs were also made available to the AF ROTC cadets to order photographs as indicated on the order page near the back of the album. Also, some snapshots and more formal photographs of peole in the Columbia Air Force ROTC.

This collection of records document the institutional history of the Center for US-China Arts Exchange, established in 1978. Under the directorship of professor and renowned composer Chou Wen-chung, the Center is a not-for-profit organization that connected arts professionals from the US and China through a spectrum of curated programs, conferences, and research trips. Bulk dated between 1977 and 2003, materials in this collection consist of correspondence, reports, photographs, printed materials, as well as audiovisual items. The collection serves as important material evidence that help to tell the recent history of cultural communications among individuals and organizations across the Pacific.

Chemist, Professor, and President of the New York Metropolitan Board of Health. Professor Chandler taught at Union College before joining the faculty of Columbia University where he taught in the Chemical Department, the College of Physicians and Surgeons, and served as one of the founders and long-time Dean of Columbia University's School of Mines. He was interested in Industrial Chemistry and Public Health, serving on the New York Metropolitan Board of Health for many years and implementing a number of significant public health and public housing reforms.

The collection documents the professional and personal relationship between the Kaufmann family and Wright, from the 1930s until the years preceding Wright's death in 1959.

The American architectural firm Greene & Greene was a partnership between the brothers Charles Sumner Greene (1868-1957) and Henry Mather Greene (1870-1954). The firm, established in 1894, was officially dissolved in 1922, after which the two practiced independently. They were active in Southern California and were part of the American Arts and Crafts Movement. During the years 1907-1909 the Greenes created some of their most renowned residences, including the Blacker, Gamble, Pratt, and Thorsen houses. They also designed interiors, creating furniture, lighting, carpets, and stained glass for their clients. Greene & Greene architectural drawings and records spans the years circa 1896 to circa 1963. The collection chiefly consists of architectural drawings (approximately 4,800) and also includes photographs, personal papers, and other manuscript material. Access to digital images of all the architectural drawings and to selected photographs are provided in the finding aid.

The Hung-Hsun Ling papers document Ling's life as a railway engineer and his contribution to the development of rail infrastructure in China during the Republican period. The papers include two manuscripts of his autobiographies and 14 photographs depicting him as an engineer taken during and after the construction of various railway projects in China and other locations dating from 1916 to 1965, as well as a portrait of him at age 80. The papers also include five books related to the history and the development of railways in China written in Chinese by Ling from 1954 to 1977.

John Barrington Bayley was an architect and preservationist born in 1914 in Berkeley, CA and died in 1981 in Newport, RI. After serving in WWII, he attended the American Academy in Rome where his life-long dedication to Classical architecture bloomed. From 1947-1950, he traveled widely throughout Italy and other European countries, documenting Renaissance. Neoclassical, and Antique architecture in black and white photographs. Often devoid of people, his photographs–at once eerie and stunning–animate Classical and Neoclassical architecture, interiors, furniture, and sculpture as personages in their own right. Bayley returned to the United States with an estimated 10,000 photographs, of which this collection is but a sample. Many were published in various books and periodicals, including his own Classical America. This collection is exclusively image-based. The collection consists of photographs for twenty buildings and models of five unrealized or partially realized project. Projects include markets, churches, factories, garages, a bus station, a bridge, a stadium, an airplane hangar, and an apartment building. The photographs are black and white and mounted to card stock. Each print includes a typed caption, which identifies and dates the project. The photographs are housed together in a clamshell box engraved with the title "La Arquitectura de Jose L. Depini." It is possible the photographs were use as a presentation album.
