Chandler Chemical Museum Records, 1934-1980
1.25 linear feetThis collection consists of copies of the card catalogue and two inventories of the holdings of the Chandler Chemical Museum. One inventory is a handwritten list, by case and by shelf, created by curator Samuel A. Tucker in the 1930s. The other inventory, from 1980, consists of color photographs from each numbered shelf with a list identifying the items.

167 drawingsThe Charles Frederick Chandler collection is composed of several parts. It contains a miscellaneous collection of approximately 167 drawings, notebooks, letters, pamphlets, clippings, etc. formed by Chandler on the subject of tenement housing and documents work on Chandler's house at 51 E. 54th Street in New York City. The Chandler collection also contains 13 photographs, collected by Chandler, related to the Centennial Exhibition in Philadelphia. Additional materials include a collection of photo processes and two E.T. Potter broadsides dated 1887-1888.

16 linear feetCorrespondence, notes, and manuscripts including items that relate to most of Agnew's professional activities, are especially rich in materials that deal with the treatment of eye diseases during the latter half of the 19th century. An interesting sidelight of the collection is a group of finely detailed woodblocks and steel plates that Agnew used to illustrate his published articles.
