This collection contains reprographic architectural drawings for the Empire State Building; photographs of the demolition of the original Waldorf-Astoria Hotel, which occupied the Fifth Avenue site; photographs of the Empire State Building under construction, circa 1930-1931 (one photograph shows former governor Alfred E. Smith standing in the building during construction), including 232 photographs by photographer Lewis Hine; photographs showing the building after completion, circa 1931-1956; scrapbooks of clippings of articles about the building, 1930-1957; and illustrations of the Empire State Building, circa 1930s-1960s. This collection includes original and reprographic architectural, engineering, and interior decoration drawings for the New York Chamber of Commerce building at 65 Liberty Street in New York City. 225 drawings date from the original design and construction of the building in 1901-1902, and 206 date from alterations and additions in 1921. The remaining drawings relate to additonal minor alterations and repairs to the structure, some as late as 1976. A very small amount of correspondence is also included in this collection. There is one drawing by Charles William Clinton for an unidentified building, stamped 1883, that may document an earlier building occupied by the New York Chamber of Commerce.

Consists of two framed renderings of the Proposed Metropolitan Opera house, one of the front elevation of the building and one of the interior perspective view of the Auditorium. In addition to the renderings, included are approximately 100+ photo stat and blueprint floor plans, site plans, and elevation drawings.

Collection consists of 51 reprographic architectural working drawings for the TWA Terminal A at John F. Kennedy International Airport in Queens, N.Y., drawn between 1958 and 1961. All sheets are diazo print on paper, with a very few bearing graphite and/or colored pencil annotations. Earlier drawings note Eero Saarinen as the architect of record; later drawings note Eero Saarinen and Associates. Architectural working drawings are stored in numerical order, sheets 2 through 121, with some sheets lacking.

This collection contains primarily project records, including drawings, files, specifications, correspondence, and photographs, related to the architectural practice of William & Geoffrey Platt. Projects including commercial, institutional, and residential buildings located in Colorado, Connecticut, Delaware, Florida, Louisiana, Massachusetts, Maine, North Carolina, New Jersey, New York, Ohio, Pennsylvania, Virginia, Vermont, Washington, and France. The firm was involved in the design of many buildings and additions for institutions such as the Pierpoint Morgan Library, Princeton University, Smith College, and Deerfield Academy.

The collection is made up of 2,967 architectural drawings drawn primarily between 1947 and 1998. Jan Hird Pokorny is the primary creator for the majority of the drawings, however, additional creators represented in the collection include Paul P. Cret, Skidmore, Owings & Merrill, Ferdinand Gottlieb, and Felix Augenfeld. Projects include many alterations to various East Coat residences, Columbia University's Lewisohn Hall, Centenary Junior College in Hackettstown, N.J, Herbert H. Lehman College in the Bronx, and Norwalk Railroad Station renovations among others.
