The collection includes material from Board of Directors' meetings, Annual General Meetings (AGM), International Committee meetings, Regional Conferences, and other AIUSA meetings. There is also material related to the China Country Coordination Group (Co-Group) and the China Tibet Campaign of 1992. The papers include correspondence, country files, publications, and reports and information on budgets, finances, and campaigns.

Biographical / historical:

Louisa Coan Greve is an expert on human rights issues in China. She majored in Asian Studies at Cornell University, graduating in 1987, and then studied at the Johns Hopkins Univerity-Nanjing University Center for Chinese and American Studies in Nanjing, China. Greve joined the AIUSA Board of Directors in 1994 and served as Treasurer to the Board of Directors from 1994-1995. Greve was also vice chair for the China Coordination Group of Amnesty International and worked with the group for eight years in the 1990s.
