Subseries comprises incoming and outgoing letters and telegrams, dating from 1932 to 1941. The letters contain personal and embassy matters, mostly to Koo, but also other embassy officials such as C.K. Sze (施肇夔; 字德潜) and K.H. Fu (傅冠雄, 字筱峯). The personal correspondence also include resume sent to Koo seeking employment in oversea offices and other personal matters. The letters between 1940 and 1941 focus on the war situation in Europe during the embassy's relocation from Paris to Vichy in 1940 after Paris was occupied by Nazi Germany. The telegrams compose of telegraphic communication exchanged between Koo as the Ambassador to France and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs as well as other important government officials.
