The manuscripts are autobiographical and fictional in character.

Manuscripts and memoirs of Vakar. The topics with which Vakar chiefly deals include: his military education and service; the role of the cavalry in the Imperial Army; emigre military groups in Europe; the Russian Defense Corps (Russkiĭ Okhrannyĭ Korpus) in Yugoslavia during World War II; and Russian emigre life in Argentina after the war. In addition to the manuscripts and memoirs, there are several posters and maps drawn by Vakar on military topics.

The collection contains Simonovich's correspondence, manuscripts, doucments, subject files, and printed materials. There are letters to Simonovich from a friend who had settled in Yugoslavia, A. S. Poplavskiĭ, and Belgian postcards from before World War I. Manuscripts deal with Simonovich's experiences in the Imperial army on the Caucasian front and in the White army under general Slashchev. There are also essays devoted to the Russian emigre colonies in Belgium and in France. The subject files concern the Belgian section of the Gallipolian Society (Obʺshchestvo Gallipolit︠s︡ev) and Russian emigre events in Belgium. The printed materials include chiefly miscellaneous journals and clippings, some with articles by Simonovich.

Manuscript memoirs (69 p.) of Vasilév. The 10 short manuscripts, chiefly autobiographical in nature, deal with such topics as Vasilév's experiences during the 1905 and 1917 revolutions and the Civil War.

Papers of S. E.Vittenberg. Vittenberg's diaries cover from April 1918 to May 1919. The brief (6 p.) typescript memoir discusses, in the third person, Vittenberg's mission to Moscow in July 1918 to arrange for an exchange of Russian and Finnish prisoners. Also included is a supplement by Ekaterina von Maĭdel ́on the Russians in Finland in 1918-1919 (24 p.). There is a photograph of Kovanḱo.

Two typescript memoirs: "Voennoinzhenernaiia komissiia russkogo pravitel'stva v Severo-Amerikanskikh Soedinennykh Shtatakh v Pervuiu mirovuiu voinu 1914-1917 g."; and "Iz Niu Iorka v Rossiiu i iz Sovetskoi Rossii v Niu Iork. Moe prebyvanie v Sovetskoi Rossii v 1917-1919 g. i ukhod iz nee" (combined ca. 50 p.). There are also two curricula vitae for Baldin, an offprint of an article on engineering and a typescript of an article on enginering by him.

Correspondence, manuscripts, documents, photographs, subject files and printed materials of Simon Lissim. Among the correspondents are Aleksandr Benois, Mikhail Larionov, Georgiĭ Lukomskiĭ and Saveliĭ Sorin. There are many manuscripts by Lissim himself including the tests for a number of lectures and speeches, sections of his memoirs and essays on aesthectics. The documents include passports documenting his emigration from Russia to France and the United States, and several awards and certificates. There are many photographs of Lissim as well as dozens of photographic reproductions of his work, uncluding Lenox and Sèvres porcelain, textile designs, silver work and graphic arts. There are subjecxt files relating to two books for which he did the illustrations, and there are many folders of clippings documenting his career.

The manuscript, written in short story style, recounts four episodes in the author's life: Russia's declaration of war against Germany (22 June 1941) and subsequent mobilization, his plans for escape, arrest and condemnation to a labor camp and eventual flight. The four episodes are entitled: "Krutoĭ povorot" "Zelenyĭ prokuror" "Trinadt︠s︡atai︠a︡ noch́" and "Lager ́smerti.".

This manuscript is noted as Chapter 6 of Sofii︠a︡ Rynkevich's memoirs "Voina 1877-78 g. Bolgarskoe Opolchenie, ego nachal'nik shtaba i moskovskie slavianofily;" she is apparently recounting what her father told her about the war.
