There are also two curricula vitae for Baldin, an offprint of an article on engineering and a typescript of an article on enginering by him.

Siluan Femistoklovich Baldin (1870-1961), Russian military engineer before the Revolution. During World War I, was sent to the USA to lead a mission that procured military equipment for the Russian Imperial Army (President of the Engineering Commission of Russian Goverment in the United States). In 1917 he returned to Russia. After Revolution emigrated first to Czechoslovakia and then settled in th USA.
