Subseries I.10 contains books, periodicals, and printed ephemera produced by IFP international partners, the Ford Foundation, and IFP itself. Also included are publications which provide background information about universities attended by IFP Fellows, as well as the broader landscapes of grant administration, international higher education, and the relationships of both to social justice. These publications were used by Secretariat staff in the administration of IFP. Where the owner of a publication or group of publications is known and it is found among other working files, it was kept in the subseries corresponding to its owner. Otherwise it was placed in Subseries I.10. Publications produced by IFP's local partners and alumni associations can be found in Series IV.

Subseries I.11 contains briefing books created by the IFP Secretariat staff for meetings between Fellows, program staff from the program's partner organizations, and the IFP Secretariat. These meetings include IFP's annual Regional Meetings, Global Partner Meetings, and Leadership for Social Justice Institutes.

Subseries I.11 contains printed photographs taken at various IFP meetings or mailed to the IFP Secretariat by Fellows and international partners between 2000 and 2010.

consists of correspondence and other materials related to academic programs, administration, admissions, budgetary issues, centers, departments, faculty, financial aid, institutes, and university relations. The records also include general information, facts, and figures on individual schools.

consists of topical files of statistics kept by the Provost Barzun's office (1950-1967), statistics that were provided in response to requests from other institutions (1973-1986), and the statistical report,Columbia University Statistical Abstracts(1993, 1996, and 1997), that is issued by the Provost's Office.

consists of files on subjects related to both the provost's activities and other university issues. These records include files on the 1968 crisis, accreditation, the arts, athletics, academic services, capital campaigns, digital initiatives, divestment, general education issues, government relations, housing, interuniversity affairs, libraries, local schools, student issues and services, women, and many other subjects.

This subseries contains medal related to student activities on campus such as the Peithologian and Philolexian Debate Societies, fraternities, and others.

This subseries contains medals awarded as academic prizes to students from 1833 to 1845. The medals are organized by recipient's last name. The subject area for the award is sometimes translated from the Latin; for others, the abbreviated Latin subject is rendered as it appears on the medal.

Another grouping of materials compiled by the Southern Africa Project, this subseries contains copies of writings and testimony by Southern Africa Project staff in chronological order.

The administrative subseries contains financial, fundraising, personnel, and travel records; records; drafts and final copies of annual reports, press releases, and publications; information about conferences and events organized by the Lawyers Committee; and testimonies before various government bodies.

Subseries I.10: Themes is a section of research files that Brenman-Gibson kept, which document her developing ideas on themes for the Clifford Odets biography. She delves into ideas such as creativity, psychoanalysis, sex, and relations that Odets' had with men, women, and his family and children.

Subseries I.11: General Files is an assortment of files that did not fit in with the previous subseries. It consists of administrative and financial files, as well as logistics related to a trip that Brenman-Gibson took to California in 1965 to conduct research for her biography. There are two folders with material related to Odets' friend, Harold Clurman. Several files contain material from Virginia Rowe, who was both Odets' secretary, and later an assistant to Brenman-Gibson. Additionally, there are articles, clippings, notes, and notebooks. One of the notebooks is entitled, "Birdseye" and offers a broad summary of Odets' life.

Subseries I.12: Rolodex consists of Brenman-Gibson's rolodex of index cards. The index cards document the people with whom Brenman-Gibson conducted interviews as well as their correspondence.

The 1930 letters were written when Rotha was in London finishing up the publication ofThe Film Till Now, organizing a film group, writing articles for film magazines, and seeking work in film.

During this period, Rotha was writing articles forFilm Quarterlyand making documentaries for British Instructional Films. The letters mention work on the filmsContact,Rising Tide, andShipyard. They also mention the encouragement Rotha received from John Grierson and others.

In 1937, Rotha received a Rockefeller Foundation Grant to promote British Film through the Museum of Modern Art Film Library. In his letters to his wife, he describes his reactions to New York and to the people he meets there.

Held in Los Angeles, CA in July 1960, this subseries contains papers relating the convention. It includes, but is not limited to: programs, pamphlets, correspondence, speeches, and press releases. While much of the material pertains to the event itself, a sizable portion relates to potential political issues to highlight in the upcoming 1960 Democratic Party platform.

Held in Atlantic City, NJ in August 1964, this subseries contains papers relating to the convention. Unlike I.1, however, I.2 is comprised primarily of publicity-related papers, especially press releases.

The bulk of this subseries is constituted by press releases and speeches, many of which Sheldon wrote to explicitly address various ethnic groups such as Germans, Italians, Poles, and Chinese. In addition, the subseries also contains handwritten notes, correspondence, and pamphlets pertaining to JFK's presidential campaign between the months of August and November, 1960. Of all the campaigns documented by this collection, the material relating to JFK's is the most voluminous.
