Scope and content
The majority of the collection consists of notes, sermons, and subject files relating to Wilson-Kastner's work in the ordained ministry. Also included are correspondence, lecture notes, church bulletins, diplomas, journals, published articles, clippings from magazines and newspapers, and a small amount of audiovisual material.

Patricia Wilson-Kastner's career included stints as: a Roman Catholic nun; a United Church of Christ pastor; an Episcopalian priest; a professor at the United Theological Seminary in New Brighton, Minnesota; the Trinity Church Professor of Preaching at General Theological Seminary in New York City; and as the Rector of St Ann's and the Holy Trinity Church in Brooklyn, New York.
