This series contains correspondence addressed to Smith and covers a number of different topics, including UTS business and publication matters. There are also a number of personal letters from Smith's friends and colleagues, including his teachers and classmates in Europe. One letter is in French, and several are in German (including those from his teachers, Tholuck and Ulrici).
