This collection is arranged in three series: Series I: Correspondence; Series II: Entries; Series III: Production Files.
This collection contains the correspondence, typescripts, production files, and financial records of the Encyclopedia of Philosophy (1967). The correspondence is between the editorial staff and the entry authors. The Entries series contains typescript drafts (with holograph corrections) of the articles included in the encyclopedia. Production files contain lists of the members of the Editorial Board, indexes, and table of contents of the encyclopedia. Financial records include ledgers of monthly expences (1962-1964) and monthly production progress reports. One box of closed/restricted files is at the end of the collection. Gaps in the alphabetical sequence indicates files not received
