Biographical sketch

Shendrikov in 1917 was a member of the Provisional Government's Ispolkom in Biĭsk, in Siberia; in June he was appointed member of the Turkestan Committee of the Provisional Government. He arrived in Tashkent in mid-August, and was a participant in and witness to developments in that city up through the Bolshevik takeover at the end of October.
