Andrei Grigor'evich Blok, writer, journalist, poet, translator. He wrote poems in Russian, and after settling in France around 1923 he started working with many French newspapers and magazines switching completely to writing in French. He also authored novels, translated libretto from different languages (including "Don Quixote" for Shaliapin, many works of Grechaninov). Worked with the "Combat" newspaper. In 1953 he was in his 50s.
