The fourteen interviews of the NYPD Guardians oral history collection document the history of the fraternal organization and the experiences of members as police officers in New York City. The New York Police Department Guardians Association was founded in 1943 and recognized by the NYPD as a fraternal organization in 1949. Over the years it has served African American officers and civilian employees of the NYPD by developing community; providing education and mentorship; advocating within the department; and taking legal action to combat discrimination in hiring and promotion. The narrators discuss the impact of the Guardians on officers' careers, the group's advocacy against discrimination in the NYPD, and developments in police work from the 1960s-2010s.

The Class of 1971 Oral History Collection currently contains 39 oral histories from members of Barnard College's class of 1971.

This collection is a combination of several different accessions of prints, negatives, contact sheets, color slides and digital files that were created by the University Photographer and others in the Columbia University Office of Public Affairs. The collection documents many events held on campus (e.g., commencement, homecoming, 1968 protests), the Morningside campus, individuals (faculty, student athletes), and sporting events.

This collection consists of records from the Barnard Center for Research on Women, formerly known as the Barnard Women's Center. It includes bylaws; director's and financial reports; correspondence; Executive Committee minutes; planning and publicity materials for and recordings of the Scholar and the Feminist Conference, career workshops and other events; and administrative materials related to women's studies courses, the Women's Center Resource Collection, the Women's Counseling Project, and other projects and publications.

The papers of philanthropic advisor and writer Gerald Freund. The collection primarily documents Freund's work with several philanthropic organizations and also includes his academic pursuits and publications.

The Coalition for Women Prisoners was a coalition founded in 1994 to address the issues and needs of women incarcerated in the New York prisons. The CWP was coordinated by the Women in Prison Project at the Correctional Association of New York. Formerly incarcerated women held various leadership roles in the Coalition as committee co-chairs, lobby team leaders, campaign organizers, peer-leader outreach workers, and public speakers. Their narratives, writing, and organizing work are present across the collection's materials. The CWP Collection contains physical and digital materials documenting the work of the Coalition for Women Prisoners and its members. The collection's contents include organizational records, photographs, video footage, films, artwork, reports, publications, and movement ephemera from the CWP's advocacy campaigns, programming, and organizational operations.
