Joseph Kingsbury Greene was an American Board of Commissioners for Foreign Missions Congregational missionary in Turkey for fifty-one years, stationed in Nicodemia, Bursa, and Manisa. He was fluent in Armenian and Turkish languages. The collection contains Greene's diaries from 1859 through 1917, Greene's correspondence with members of the American Board of Commissioners for Foreign Missions and others, and Greene's handwritten English and Armenian dictionaries.

Pliny Fisk was a Middlebury College and Andover Theological Seminary alumnus and Missionary of the American Board of Commissioners for Foreign Missions stationed in the Near/Middle East. The collection contains provenance notes, Fisk's journal, and Fisk's book of extracts and records.

Lorenzo Warriner Pease was a Presbyterian missionary in Cyprus. The collection contains diaries and correspondence by Pease and his family, sermons, essays and notes, linguistic manuals, and studies, as well as surrogate photocopies of some collection material.

This collection contains correspondence, reports, and teaching materials of Frank C. Laubach, a Christian missionary and educator who played a prominent role in world literacy by establishing the "Each One Teach One" literacy teaching method and founding the Committee on World Literacy and Christian Literature (FMCNA and NCC), World Literacy, Inc., and Laubach Literacy, Inc.
