A teaching collection of original comic art, much of which sheds light on various historical styles or techniques. Accompanied by several comic books. Materials includes daily newspaper strip art, Sunday newspaper strip art, single-panel cartoons, comic book pages, and related comics material, such as printing plates and ephemera.

Edwina, 1893-1990
Edwina Dumm (1893-1990) was one of the earliest syndicated women cartoonists, known for her dog and animal centric strips and her delicate line. She was the author of Cap Stubbs and Tippie (1918-1966), Alec the Great (1931-1969), and the illustrator of numerous books about dogs.

Kitchen Sink Press

Kitchen Sink Press was a comic book publisher founded by Denis Kitchen in 1969. The company closed in 1999. The press was known for publishing underground comics and reprints of classic comic strips. The records include contracts, correspondence, editorial files, financial records, proofs, and other materials. This collection is still being processed; currently, only the correspondence is available for research.

The cartoon collection contains original art, process sketches, sketchbooks, etc. The children's book collection contains her manuscripts, sketches, production materials, and more. The collection also includes her portfolio from Jerusalem's Bezalel Academy of Arts and Design, ca. 1970s.
