The Archives of THE QUIET IN THE LAND includes materials documenting The Quiet in the Land (1996-2013), an art and education project founded and directed by the curator and art historian France Morin. The projects include The Quiet in the Land: Everyday Life, Contemporary Art, and the Shakers; The Quiet in the Land: Everyday Life, Contemporary Art, and Projeto Axé; and The Quiet in the Land: Art, Spirituality, and Everyday Life, Luang Prabang, Laos. This work goes beyond the making of art to human rights and the meeting of cultures project that has great resonance in today's world.
