This series contains typescript news releases in English that were produced by the CIC from 1938. As the CIC was a propaganda office, the reports unerringly paint China's economic and military situations in a favorable light, while criticizing and undermining the Japanese war effort. Reports of Japanese war crimes and the plight of Chinese refugees dominate the pages, interspersed with addresses from Jiang Jieshi and Song Meiling (Madame Chiang Kai-shek). Stories involving missionaries and foreign countries also figure prominently. Also included are topical materials such as reports, original and copied correspondence, pamphlets, newspaper clippings, and bulletins that deal with Japanese war crimes, missionaries, China Information Service, and other efforts during the time frame. The titles of the folders are original.

This series is arranged by format, and then alphabetically.

This series contains historical information on the formation of the Chinese Church in Korea from its creation in 1912. Fact sheets, pamphlets, and indices of school names and other demographic data place the Chinese Church of Christ in the larger context of Protestant missionary work in Korea. News articles, programs, informational pamphlets, statistics and graphs contain evidence related to the founding and operation of the Church and missionary-run schools along with more general resources on Korean missionary efforts, school demographics, and resources for newcomers to Korea. Documents related to the foundation of the Church include the Constitution and minutes of the first meeting. Articles and reports, most of which are commissioned by the Presbyterian Board of Foreign Missions, and research from the committee of Christian Education Mission Schools chronicle the establishment and administration of church centers and schools. Correspondence excerpts include narrative history of the Church founding and operation and indices listing key members of the Church and missionary school community. A listing of Mission Stations in Korea dated 1915 includes Japanese spelling equivalents. More than thirty fact sheets on the socio-political condition of South Korea, specifically violation of human rights, are also found in this collection. The work of the Chinese Church of Christ in Korea proceeded against a backdrop of larger historical context, including references to riots and unrest that interrupted missionary work in 1931, and later with the advent of World War II [see folder 1].

This series contains a memorandum with information about religious training; social training; language; training of girls and women; higher and mass education; and intermediate schools and native administration schools in Tanganyika Territory, East Africa. The document resulted from discussions at a Lutheran Missionary Societies conference in 1932.

This series contains minutes, a constitution, by-laws, reports, treasurers accounts, member lists, correspondence, and pamphlets of an Episcopal organization founded in 1910 to support Christian unity through research and conferences.

This series contains books, journal articles, and reviews written or edited by Christine Gudorf; their topics include sexuality, feminism, and liberation theology.

This series contains materials created by or for the City Councils of Churches, including administrative materials (such as constitutions, by-laws, and policies), annual reports and meetings records, bulletins and newsletters, pamphlets, event programs, and informational brochures. The materials address a variety of issues common across the cities represented in the collections, including religious education, social welfare and action, youth, and race relations.

This series contains one typed manuscript of an essay entitled "Ecumenical Protestantism and Labor Relations," written while Bouwman was a student at The New School for Social Research. The essay is eighty pages in length, along with a title page and a three-page bibliography. The first page of the essay is missing. Copyedits and critical feedback have been marked in pencil throughout by an unknown editor, possibly a professor at the New School. The essay contributes to an analysis of ecumenical Protestantism in America by showing the differences between sectarian religious groups and what Bouwman calls "churchly" groups, or mainline churches, in terms of their relationship to the "Social Gospel," and to labor laws in particular.

This series contains administrative records pertaining to the Dietrich Bonhoeffer Works Translation Project, helmed by members of the International Bonhoeffer Society under the leadership of Clifford Green, Victoria Barnett, and others. Materials relate to the writing, publication, and reception of Dietrich Bonhoeffer Works and include correspondence, editorial and working draft files, grantwriting and fundraising documentation, and DBWE research files organized according to their final volume number.

This series contains material related to the Conference on American Relations with China held at Johns Hopkins University in Baltimore, Maryland in 1925, and focused on issues such as extraterritoriality and tariff autonomy. Materials include correspondence, bulletins, notes, reports, outlines, transcripts, bibliographies, and draft material, including a draft of the published report of the conference. Some material retains handwritten notes and annotations.
