Manuscripts and printed materials of Sokolov. There are two manuscripts of a religious-philosophical nature: "Pobedit li Galilei︠a︡nin?" and "Chto takoe Kosmopolitizm?". Also included is a compilation prepared by Sokolov "Skvernyĭ anekdot i pechalńyĭ ne anekdot" of his correspondence with the Institute for the Study of the USSR and Professor Philip Mosely, concerning Sokolov's attack on the policies of the Chekov Publishing House in New York. There are also several pamphlets by Sokolov.

The papers consist of correspondence, manuscripts, documents, subject files, photographs, a sound tape, and printed materials. There are many letters from Anton Kartashev; other correspondents include Mikhaĭl Karpovich, Philip Mosely, and Vasiliĭ Zenḱovskiĭ. There are manuscripts by Kartashev, Karpovich, and George Vernadsky, as well as by Novit︠s︡kiĭ himself on the Orthodox Church and the emigration. Subject files touch on his organizational activities. There are photographs of Novit︠s︡kiĭ with Dwight Eisenhower, Nelson Rockefeller, and Jacob Javits, and also of Zenḱovskiĭ. The sound tape is an interview with Novit︠s︡kiĭ on Voice of America about his father-in-law, Georgiĭ Shavelśkiĭ. Some of the materials concern Novit︠s︡kiĭ's brother, Evgeniĭ, and wife, Marii︠a︡.

The collection consists of correspondence, manuscripts, notes, photographs, subject files, and printed materials. Correspondents include Victor Chernov and George Kennan. Extensive notes by Mosely concern European diplomacy in the 1830s and the South Slavic Zadruga. There are thousands of photographs, chiefly from the Soviet Union ca. 1945-1955. Besides photographs of Soviet, Chinese, and East European political figures, such as Mao Tse-Tung, György Lukʹacs, and Boris Spasskiĭ, there are photographs of such Western figures as Enrico Berlinguer and Pablo Neruda. Subject files and mimeographed and printed materials include files on the Inter-University Committee on Travel Grants; papers on Soviet Studies distributed by St. Antony College, Oxford University; State Department research reports, and works by Mosely.
