This subseries covers educational materials that incorporate audio and visual presentation of the material. It contains film catalogs, and publications of the Japan Film Education Society (Nihon Eiga Kyōiku Kyōkai/日本映画教育協会) concerning audiovisual education.
It also contains magazines that focus on audio-visual education, including almost a full run ofShichōkaku kyōiku/視聴覚教育/The Audio-Visual Education(1954-08/2001-10). These were separated and cataloged; they are accessible via the Columbia University Libraries online catalog. The subseries also contains issues of the magazineKyōiku/教育;for more education related materials see Subseries VI.8: Subject Files: Education, and Subseries VI.11: Subject Files: Film School Textbooks and Shooting Techniques.
