This collection consists of reports, notes, and memos kept by Roger Bagnall who headed the Faculty Services Committee. Papers are divided into several faculty services areas: accounts payable, custodial, desktop support, disabilities, focus groups, human resources, and purchasing.

Biographical / historical:

The Faculty Services Committee was convened by President George Rupp in response to the results of the Columbia University Morningside Faculty Survey on Academic and Administrative Services, Spring 1998. The Committee worked with Provost Jonathan Cole and Vice President for Administration Emily Lloyd. Roger Bagnall served as chair from January 1999 to June 2000. He was succeeded by Robert Krauss, who served until July 2002.

All administrative records of the University are restricted for 25 years from the date of creation.

This collection is located off-site. You will need to request this material at least three business days in advance to use the collection in the Rare Book and Manuscript Library reading room.
