Scope and content:: The collection contains information on the Caribbean and Southeast Asia, as well as on the death penalty, refugees, AIUSA conferences, and AIUSA events, decision making, and planning. Materials consist of clippings, correspondence, meeting minutes, VHS tapes, audiocassettes, newsletters, photographs, AI Actions, and policy information and handbooks.
Biographical / historical:: Virginia Mattern worked with AIUSA, primarily with the Caribbean Co-Group and the Southeast Asia Regional Action Network (RAN).

Custodial history:

The papers were originally donated to the University of Colorado Boulder as part of the AIUSA collection. In 2006 the AIUSA collection was transferred to RBML.
