Abstract:: This collection consists of songbooks and musical scores from Barnard College events and productions.

Scope and content:: This collection includes Barnard College songbooks that feature songs that are about or inspired by Barnard. Additionally, there are compositions by Barnard students, including alumna author and geographer, Jeannette Mirsky. Of note is a seven inch vinyl record of the song "Barnard! Barnard!" which was recorded at the Waldorf-Astoria in 1964. The words and music to this song were composed by Richard Rodgers. There is also a songbook of the "Barnard! Barnard!" score.

Acquisition information:

Transferred from the Barnard College office of Communications, formerly known as Public Affairs. Musical score to "Claire De Lune" donated by Rosary Scacciaffero Gillheary.
