This collection contains a report, full assessment, and data used by the Committee on Institutional Assessment.

Biographical / historical:

The Committee on Institutional Assessment was formed in the Fall of 2011 by President Spar. The Committee was tasked with making recommendations on Barnard's data utilization and collection. They were asked to indentify the types of data Barnard College collected, what Barnard should be collecting to meet institutional needs, technological changes for better data access, and recommended changes for regulating data access and utilization. This was an ad hoc committee, which disbanded after they accomplished their charges.

Permission to publish material from the collection must be requested from the Barnard College Archives. The Barnard College Archives approves permission to publish that which it physically owns; the responsibility to secure copyright permission rests with the patron.
