From 1980-1981, The Committee to Meet the Needs of the Disabled (CMND)/Barnard Design for Access (BDA), advised and monitored the activities of facilitites staff and administrative offices to ensure that the funds granted by the Max C. Fleischmann Foudation and The Pew Charitable Trust were utilized as Barnard College stated in its proposals to make the campus physically accessible.
