This collection consists of correspondence, accounts, reports, floor plans, blueprints, photographs, court papers, and memoranda relating to the construction and furnishing of campus buildings and landscaped areas.

Scope and content:

This collection includes materials relating to the construction and furnishing of campus buildings and landscaped areas. There are court papers, maps, clippings, correspondence, and building plans related to the Riverside Park extensions and openings at 120th Street that date from 1891-1909.

Also included are blueprints, models, planning materials, reports, renovations, and preservation plans for campus buildings and dormitories.

Additionally, there is a large collection of photographs of the interior and exterior of the campus buildings and dormitories. The photographs depict students, faculty, and various construction projects throughout Barnard's history.
