The collection comprises a large Proof Album with multiple photographs (circa Spring 1955). This album contains several pages of proofs that were used in the Thunderbird 1955 yearbook. The proofs were also made available to the AF ROTC cadets to order photographs as indicated on the order page near the back of the album. Also, some snapshots and more formal photographs of peole in the Columbia Air Force ROTC.

This collection consists of the administrative records of the Department of Sociology such as departmental meeting minutes and correspondence. Included are a number of publications from Paul Felix Lazarsfeld's interest in quantifying methodologies for social research. There are also two boxes of index cards kept by department with information about former graduate students.

University Lectures records, 1972-2016

The records document the University Lecture series, from its beginning in 1972 to 1998. The files contain information about the speakers (cv, bio, clippings, and articles), event press release, advertisement, flyer/poster, invitation, guest lists, rsvp cards, dinner seating charts, Provost's introductory remarks, correspondence and other details about the logistics of the event. For a few, there is a transcript of the lecture. The electronic files consist of programs, posters, guest lists, biographies, planning documents, and photographs covering the years 2002 to 2016.
