The collection consists primarily of the Captain Savin's memoirs. Included are photocopies of three typescript variants of the above work, as well as a photocopy of the published version entitled "Gibelʹ Generala Millera" (Paris, 1939). Also included in the collection is correspondence from the 1960s both to and from Petr Savin, and between third parties. Among these latter are letters from the personal archive of the secretary of Grand Prince Nikita of Russia, Aleksandr Alekseevich Belorukov.

Memoirs consist of a continuously-paginated manuscript (326 p.), and two typescript and five manuscript essays. His memoirs cover from the 1890s to 1918, and concern primarly his professional activities. Political events dealt with include the 1905 and 1917 Revolutions (with particular attention paid to the participation of railway personnel), and Dmitrenko's work as an active member of the Constitutional Democratic (Kadet) Party in 1905-1906.

Typed memoirs "Itogi semidesiatiletiia" discuss such topics as Isheev's family and education; the 1905 Revolution in Riga and Jelgava; his contacts with the world of theatre and journalism in Russia; World War I and the Civil War; and the emigration in Bulgaria, France, and the United States, where he was again involved with cultural activities and journalism.

Papers of Petr S. Makhrov, consisting primarily of extensive manuscript memoirs. Emigrating to France, he became a leading figure in the "Soviet patriotic" movement during and after World War II. His memoirs, in thousands of pages, discuss all aspects of his career. The papers also include correspondence, documents, photographs, and printed materials. There are orders (prikazy) from World War I and the Civil War, and reports and telegrams from his time in Poland. There is a copy of "Russkie v Gallipoli" autographed by Wrangel, and a photograph album entitled "Russkai︠a︡ armii︠a︡ na Balkanakh." Also included is the 1841 report of the director of the Imperial Military Academy in St. Petersburg, General Sukhozanet.

The typed memoirs "Ekaterinodar-Nachalo 1918 goda i nachalo Beloi Borb́y na Kubani" (10 p.) and "Sudb́a" (7 p.) discuss the Civil War period.

Typescript memoir by P. V. Danil'chenko entitled "Moi vospominaniia o Velikom Kniaze Konstantine Konstantinoviche: k predstoiashchemu v 1958 godu stoletiiu so dnia ego rozhdeniia" (40 pages typescript). The memoir concerns cultural evenings organized by the Grand Duke Konstantin Konstantinovich in the Izmaĭlovskii Guard Regiment and the 1914 production of the Grand Duke's play "Tsar' Iudeiskii" at the Court Theater in the Hermitage, for which Glazunov composed incidental music.

Petrashin's memoirs are mostly brief fragments, and touch upon such topics as World War I, the Civil War, the USSR between the World Wars, anti-Semitism, and World War II. Many of the events discussed take place in the Ukraine and Belorussia.

Handwritten fragment of the memoirs of Vogak. The sixty-six page manuscript discusses four separate episodes from the Civil War, including, for example, the evacuation of the White Army from the Crimea. See also L. P. Urusov.

Typescripts cover a variety of Soviet and anti-Communist topics with comments on Stalin, Khrushchev and Brezhnev. The manuscripts are of memoiristic nature and discuss the Soviet Union from ca. 1916-25.

The memoirs "Shest' let voiny" deal mainly with Petrov's military experiences.
