Typescript memoir by P. V. Danil'chenko entitled "Moi vospominaniia o Velikom Kniaze Konstantine Konstantinoviche: k predstoiashchemu v 1958 godu stoletiiu so dnia ego rozhdeniia" (40 pages typescript). The memoir concerns cultural evenings organized by the Grand Duke Konstantin Konstantinovich in the Izmaĭlovskii Guard Regiment and the 1914 production of the Grand Duke's play "Tsar' Iudeiskii" at the Court Theater in the Hermitage, for which Glazunov composed incidental music.

Petr Vasil'evich Danil'chenko (1873-1953), officer of the Russian Army, playwright. Graduated from the 1st Cadet Corps (1892) and Konstantinovsky Military School (1894), served in the Lifeguard Izmailovsky Regiment. In his spare time he staged the play "Tsar' Iudeiskii" by Grand Duke Konstantin Konstantinovich (K. R.) at the Hermitage Theater. Author of the play "Dvenadtsatyi god," successfully staged at the Maly Theater for the anniversary celebrations in connection with the 100th anniversary of the Patriotic War of 1812. Participant in World War I, in 1914 went to the front as a commander of the 11th Company. Commander of the 2nd Infantry Division, 7th Revelsk, General Tuchkov's VI Regiment; Lieutenant Colonel of the Guards. In 1917 organized the Union of the Disabled in Odessa. In 1918-1920 - in the White Army in the South of Russia until the evacuation of Novorossiysk. In emigration to the Kingdom of Serbs, Croats and Slovenes (as of May 1920). From August 1920 he joined the Russian Army in Crimea; evacuated from Sevastopol in November 1920. In emigration to Bulgaria (1921-1923). Being engaged in social activity for the rendering help to Russian refugees, organized feeding of 2 thousand people, in reward of merits he was elected honorable member of the Union of invalids. Since 1923 in the USA. Lived in New York, took part in the activity of the Association of Russian Cadet Corps. Died in New York, buried in the cemetery of the New Root Hermitage Monastery in Mahopac, New York.
