This collection consists of two sets of records originating in the Office of the Registrar. A set of published annual reports containing statistical information concerning enrollment and graduates from 1924 through 1976. There is also a collection of 62 bound volumes noting matriculation status and sometimes grade and course information for students enrolled in Columbia College, the Graduate Faculties, Summer Session, Faculty of Fine Arts (Department of Music and Architecture) from the late 19th century to the early 20th century. Collection also includes matriculation receipt books from the early 1890s and some statistical information from Seth Low Junior College (1929-1936). Three volumes from 1785 to 1896 contain matriculation information for Columbia College students. Similar volumes documenting students enrolled in the School of Law and the College of Physicians and Surgeons were transferred to the Archives & Special Collections at the School of Law and the Medical School, respectively.

The Oracle Bones collection comprises 128 authentic, forged, and unconfirmed pieces of ox scapula and tortoise shells, also known as oracle bones (jiagu, 甲骨), that were used as a form of divination in ancient China during the late Shang dynasty, dating from circa 1300-1050 BCE.

Kristeller was a professor of philosophy at Columbia University and a world renowned scholar of Renaissance humanism and Renaissance philosophy who published widely, notably his major catalog of uncataloged manuscripts from the Italian Renaissance, the Iter Italicum.

Brody, Anita Thatcher, Michael Wilson, Ken McMullen, Clyde Syddall, Jerrilyn Dodds, Edin Velez, Barry Bergdoll and Nadine Descendre, Robin Cormack, Adrian Maben, Keith Griffiths and the Quay Brothers, Roger Cardinal, Stephen Murray, Richard Greenburg, David Hockney, Phillip Haas, Richard Brilliant, Robert Rosen and Andrea Simon, Cecil Gould, Bill Cran, John Pinto, and Richard Rogers and Corey Shaff. The interviews were conducted by Janet Sternburg. The binder also includes a final transcript of "Art on Film, Film on Art." The collection also includes two copies of the "Art on Film, Film on Art" video guide published by the Metropolitan Museum of Art and the J. Paul Getty Trust.
