The White House Project was created in 1998, an offshoot of the Ms. Foundation, the organization worked to help put women in positions of leadership. The White House Project was created with the ideal that a woman should be President sooner rather than later, and worked to increase female presence in business and American governmental spaces. Known for their catchphrase "Vote, Run, Lead" the Project ran a non-partisan conference called Go Run which connected women to workshops and opportunities to learn how to run for office.
