The collection consists of manuscripts, memoirs and a printed item. Manuscripts consist of poems by Maĭborodov, including a typescript of a poema entitled "Bogdan Khmelńit︠s︡kiĭ." The memoirs primarily concern the years 1900-1938 and include Maĭborodov's reminiscences as a student at St. Petersburg University (1900-1904) and his reminiscences of his service as a zemstvo chief in the Volyni︠a︡n, Podoli︠a︡n, Bessarabian and Kherson provinces from 1904-1916. The printed item is an off-print (61 p.) of a memoir entitled "S frant︠s︡uzami," which was published in "Arkhiv Russkoĭ Revoli︠u︡tsii." In the collection it is part of the memoir "Vo vremi︠a︡ smuty (pri vremennom pravitelśtve) [1917-1920]."

The papers include correspondence, manuscripts, documents, printed materials, and photographs. Much of the correspondence concerns "Reka Vremen." Cataloged correspondents are Georgiĭ Adamovich, George Kennan, Vasiliĭ Maklakov, I︠U︡liĭ Margolin, Sofii︠a︡ Pregeĺ Harrison Salisbury, I︠U︡riĭ Terapi︠a︡no, Nikolaĭ Uli︠́a︡nov, and Edmund Wilson. There are manuscripts of several stories by Olǵa, and of her biography of Vladimir; also included are the memoirs of N.N. Savvin about the St. Petersburg Polytechnic Institute. Printed materials include articles about Vladimir and his obituaries. There is a photograph of the "Normandie" coming into an American port in the 1930s.

Vladimir Ivanovich Karpov Papers, 1946-1967

Papers consist of correspondence, newspaper clippings, and a photograph of Karpov. The correspondence concerns his emigration from Hong Kong to Denmark in the 1950s, and also "Anastasia" claimants. Karpov was apparently involved in Sokolov's investigation into the murder of the tsar and his family in 1918.

Vladimir Ivanovich Lebedev Papers, 1900-1955

Most of the collection consists of manuscripts by Lebedev and others on Russian and East European literary and political topics from about 1914 to the 1930s. There are three microfilm reels of materials on Gavrilo Princip and the asassination of Archduke Ferdinand in Sarajevo, 1914. Correspondents include Hamilton Fish Armstrong and George F. Kennan. There are several drafts of articles by Mark Slonim and materials on the Socialist Revolutionaries in the emigration from about 1930. Lebedev's personal documents cover from his army service (the Russo-Japanese War), through the 1917 Revolution and Civil War, and his later life in Europe and the United States. There are photographs from interwar Albania and Bulgaria, including ones of Aleksandŭr Stamboliski. Printed materials include a copy of Lebedev's book "Novym putem" and issues of "Voli︠a︡ Rossii.".

The collection consists of manuscripts by Sekara and printed materials. The manuscripts primarily deal with Sekara's military career during the Civil War. There is a copy of "Sumskie gusary 1651-1951" (Buenos Aires, 1954) to which various clippings and notes have been appended. In addition, there are a few dozen issues of the journals "The Sentinel" and "Voennai︠a︡ byl ́(The Military Past) dating from the 1950s to 1974.
