Summary InformationAt a Glance
DescriptionScope and contentInternational Missionary Council was established in 1921. It linked missionary councils to discuss issues such as the missionary obligation of the church, theological education, and the ecumenical movement. Associated with the World Council of Churches in 1939, in 1961, it was integrated with WCC as its Commission on World Mission and Evangelism. Collection contains documents, correspondence, pamphlets and photographs relating to the formation and development of the organization.
