DescriptionScope and ContentsThis collection contains books from Konstam's private collection as well as numerous newsletters, magazines, and other denominational publications that are no longer in print. Much of the material illustrates the efforts of religious professional and lay women to reconcile the women's liberation movement with their faith and concerns such topics as: women in the church; women's liberation; and social justice issues. Titles include Genesis II, Lilith, The Jewish Women's Quarterly, Network Quarterly, and the Yellow Ribbon.

About the Finding Aid / Processing InformationColumbia University Libraries, Burke Library at Union Theological Seminary Processing InformationFolded materials were flattened. Newspaper clippings were photocopied on acid free paper. Staples, rubber bands, and metal clips were removed and replaced with plastic clips. All materials were placed in acid-free folders and boxes. The finding aid was created by Leslie Reyman in 2001, updated by Ruth Tonkiss Cameron in 2004, and edited by Leah Edelman in 2022.
