Louise Wells was a student at Teachers College studying hygiene and physical education as well as enrolled in the Faculty of Philosophy (Graduate Faculties) at Columbia University from 1914-1915. She graduated with a Master's degree from Columbia University and diploma in hygiene and physical education from Teachers College in June 1915. She eventually married Maurice Parsons.
