Chinese print of bamboo in black and grey ink on a wood roller. Gift of Fudan University (People's Republic of China) 14 November 1984. Presented by Professor (Mrs.) Xu Shiming to Vice President Paul Carter of Columbia when a delegation from Fudan University visited Columbia for a 3-4 day visit to study administrative policies, procedures, etc. of C.U. They met with President Sovern, Anthony Knerr, etc. on various administrative problems.

"1863-1913 Columbia. Dinner given to his classmates by James Herman Aldrich on the second of June, 1913 at the University Club, Fifth Avenue and 54th Street, New York." Invitation is white with light blue lettering and encased in a small gold colored frame with glass on both sides. The back of the invitation has signatures of the attendees.
