Series XIII: Legacy Description

This series contains library and archival description that is no longer current for finding and managing RBML materials, but may be of historical interest.

Scanned PDF finding aids

In the mid 2000s, typewritten finding aids for archival collections (both RBML and Bahkmeteff) were scanned to PDF and posted online. The information in these files has mostly been superceded by description managed first in EAD and then as of 2019 in ArchiveSpace. These 2487 PDF files are preserved at Level 1, and can be accessed by request.

HTML finding aids

Before EAD was adopted in the late 2000s, some archival description was encoded directly into HTML finding aids. 218 such finding aids are preserved here.
