History / Biographical NoteBiographical NoteHenry Edward Crampton(1875-1951) was a professor of zoology at Columbia and Barnard in 1904-1943. He was also the curator of invertebrate zoology at the American Museum of Natural History and a member of various scientific expeditions to Hawaii and the South Pacific. Crampton was the author of DOCTRINE OF EVOLUTION and other monographs on scientific subjects. |
