Summary
Letters dating from 1923 to 1927 and 1936 to Vitz while he was Librarian of the Toledo Public Library, concerning the location, maintenance and costs of central public library buildings. These letters are from the head librarians of major American public libraries citing their experience and views regarding this topic, occasionally supplemented by data concerning their own library buildings.
