Scope and content:

Scripts of plays that were presented during Smith's tenure as Director of the Brander Matthews Theater. Also, ca. 400 loose scrapbook leaves of mounted clippings, programs, and other memorabilia relating to the various theatrical productions with which Smith was associated. Many of these productions were produced by Columbia Theatre Associates.

Biographical / historical:

Milton Smith (1890-) was director of the Brander Matthews Theater at Columbia University and also served as director of Columbia University's School of Dramatic Arts.
