DescriptionSummaryCorrespondence, memoranda, reports, and printed material of Mansfield. Mansfield was an officer of the U.S. Office of Price Administration (O.P.A.), which governed rationing programs during World War II,1942-1945, and the Office's historian, 1946-1947; these papers deal primarily with Mansfield's activities in these capacities. The collection includes studies done under the supervision of John Kenneth Galbraith at Harvard University in 1950, as well as copies of correspondence from Galbraith and other officers of the O.P.A.
