DescriptionSummaryMost of the letters were written by Bayle to members of his family. Many of the letters are quite lengthy. Approximately 20 of these letters have been published by Professor John L. Gerig of Columbia University. In addition to the letters there is a list of Bayle's writings with the dates of early editions, and a list of manuscripts which were found after Bayle's death.
