Letters, documents, and manuscripts relating to the Society. The letters, most of which are addressed to Clinton and Mitchill, are from scientists in New York as well as England and France. The manuscripts include minutes of various meetings, laws and regulations of the Society, and lists of resident and honorary members.
You will need to make an appointment in advance to use this collection material in the Rare Book and Manuscript Library reading room. You can schedule an appointment once you've submitted your request through your Special Collections Research Account.
