Box 1 Folder 2 Extremely imcomplete lists of the membership of the library Public delations Council. Nost of the material is for 1968. No material for the 1900s. Some of the lists are origional, some carbon, a few are accompanied by cover letters, 1939-1968, 12 items

Box 1 Folder 3 A mixture of materials, all related to the election of officers. Includes Publicity Releases listing the new officers, letters concerning the nomination of pro-posed candidates, official ballots, sometimes with final figures added, and official announcements to the membership of the new officers, an accurate list of all the officers may be attained for all years except 1956., 26 items

Box 1 Folder 4 Same mixture of materials. Totals are frequently included, Lists of Committee Chairperson's are often given, especially for the more recent years., 33 items

Box 1 Folder 5 Dated 19** During this period anyone who addressed the organization became an honorary member. The folder contains a form letter from President Helen Scherff Taylor inviting 20 individuals to be honorary members. The acceptance letters are arranged alphabetically by author. The folder also includes some additional letters of invitation, and lists of honorary members., 27 items

Box 1 Folder 6 Meeting minutes of the executive board. The board met on an irregular basis hence it is impossible to tell how complete the material is, but there seems to be gaps. The minutes are usually carbon copies, or photocopies., 23 items

Box 1 Folder 7 Material for 1962-1964. is completely non-existant. The materials for the other years contains gaps, and is largely photocopies., 21 items

Box 1 Folder 10 A miscellaneous collection of materials. Presidential reports, committee reports, annual meeting reports. Many dates are missing. The first item in the folders is a list of the Annual Reports included by year, 1943-1969, 24 items

Box 1 Folder 11 Includes treasurer's annual statements, reports of checking accounts, dispersement of funds, some itemized expense accounts, and a few lists of checks issued. Incomplete records, the eanlier material is extremely detailed. Most of the material is the origional copy., 33 items

Box 1 Folder 12 Treasurer's reports, some final or annual, financial statements ingluding broad accounting for expendatures. Also includes some correspondance about checking accounts., 23 items

Box 1 Folder 13 Materials sent to members pertaining to meetings, special events, newsletters, notices of board meetings and minutes, and general letters of important events. Also includes some post card notices. Most of the material is copies in the form in which they were sent out, a few carbon copies., 47 items
